Which Las Vegas hotels have a real infinity pool?

Five hotels on this page give you an infinity pool, and three of them share the same one. The shared pool is the Athena Infinity Ultra Pool at Resorts World on the North Strip, used by Crockfords Las Vegas, Conrad Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Hilton. Resorts World bills it as the first adult-only infinity pool on the Strip, and the resort's FAQ limits entry to guests 21 and older. The pool looks out over the Strip.

Two more hotels confirm the edge on their own pages. M Resort Spa & Casino in Henderson has two heated infinity-edge pools in its all-ages M Pool, and another infinity-edge pool at its 21+ DayDream Pool Club. Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino describes an infinity pool on its Citrus Grand Pool Deck, a third-floor deck above the casino.

The other five hotels are here for a different kind of pool, and their cards describe it without the infinity label. Our pick for an infinity pool with the Strip in view is Athena, reached through any of the three Resorts World hotels; for an infinity edge away from the crowds, we would choose M Resort.

Strip, Downtown or Henderson: which area suits your pool stay?

Stay on the Strip if the view is the point of your pool day, and look to Henderson if you want space and a calmer deck. On the North Strip, the Resorts World pool complex faces the Strip from the fifth floor. In the Center Strip, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has two hotel pools and the 21+ Marquee Dayclub, and its Boulevard Pool overlooks the Strip. The Vanderpump Hotel, the former Cromwell, has Soleia Beach, a rooftop deck 11 stories above the Strip with two pools and six hot tubs.

Downtown is more compact and more of a party. Circa Resort & Casino runs Stadium Swim, six pools on three levels in front of a giant sports screen. Downtown Grand adds the other Downtown option, an infinity pool on a third-floor deck above the casino, near Fremont Street.

Henderson and Lake Las Vegas, on the south-east side of the valley, trade the skyline for space. Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa Casino sets its heated sand-bottom pool in an eight-acre backyard, with distant views of the Strip. M Resort sits at the far south end of Las Vegas Boulevard, and Lake Las Vegas, home of The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, gets its own section below.

For a first visit, our pick is The Cosmopolitan, because the Boulevard Pool puts the Center Strip right in front of you. Choose Circa instead if you want the party Downtown.

Is Lake Las Vegas worth the trip from the Strip?

Lake Las Vegas suits a slower resort stay by the water better than a Strip weekend. It is a master-planned community in Henderson, built around a privately owned lake with a Mediterranean theme, about 17 miles (27 km) from the Strip.

The Westin Lake Las Vegas is the lake hotel on this page, with a two-level pool area by the shore. The heated upper pool looks over the lake. The lower pool has a waterslide and sits next to the resort's lake beach; both are open only in season.

The trade-off is distance: every evening on the Strip means a drive there and back. Our pick for a quiet lakeside week is the Westin Lake Las Vegas, because its heated upper pool stretches the season and the waterslide suits families.

Crockfords, Conrad or Las Vegas Hilton: which should you book?

Book any of the three for Athena, then choose by how much privacy you want around the pool. All three hotels share one pool complex of more than five acres on the fifth floor, with several pools, Athena among them.

Athena is compact, about 170 square meters (1,800 square feet), and the resort sells reserved chairs, daybeds and bungalows around it. Complimentary loungers exist too, but a reservation is the surest way to get a seat by the water. Athena admits only guests 21 and older, while families can use the Main Pool and a family pool in the same complex.

Crockfords adds something the other two hotels do not have: a separate pool reserved for Crockfords guests, according to the Resorts World pools page. The same page says cabanas at the Crockfords pool are available to all guests by reservation. For a pool of your own, Crockfords also has Two-Bedroom Pool Villas with a private pool on a garden terrace. Between Conrad and the Las Vegas Hilton, pool access is the same, so compare the rooms and the rates on the cards.

Our pick for couples is Crockfords, for Athena plus a quieter pool for its own guests. If you only need the deck, the Las Vegas Hilton, usually the lowest-priced of the three, gives you the same access to Athena.

Adults-only hotel or 21+ pool: what is the difference?

An adults-only hotel applies its age rule at the front door, while a 21+ pool applies it only at the pool entrance. Most age rules on this page are the second kind. Circa is adults-only as a whole: its property rules say everyone must be at least 21 to enter, with valid ID, including hotel guests, casino players and restaurant or bar visitors.

Elsewhere, the rule belongs to one pool. Athena at Resorts World admits guests 21 and older. DayDream Pool Club at M Resort is also 21+, while the resort's main pool welcomes all ages. At The Cosmopolitan, Marquee Dayclub is a strict 21+ venue. At The Vanderpump Hotel, Soleia Beach requires visitors who are not staying to be 21 or older. The hotel's own pages disagree on whether hotel guests under 21 may use it.

This matters for mixed groups. A group with children can stay at M Resort, and the adults can still spend an afternoon at a 21+ pool on site. Circa, by contrast, turns away anyone under 21.

Our pick for a fully adult stay is Circa, where every pool, bar and room follows the same 21+ rule.

Which Las Vegas pools work for families with children?

M Resort is the clearest family choice, because its main pool was designed for guests of all ages. M Pool has two heated infinity-edge pools, about 1 meter (under 4 feet) at their deepest, with a shallow wading area at each end. Guests under 16 must have a parent or guardian with them the whole time.

Green Valley Ranch has a sand-bottom, beach-entry pool that children can walk into, and its pool page lists separate children's rates for visitors. The Westin Lake Las Vegas has a waterslide by its lower pool, which the resort says was designed for all ages. At The Vanderpump Hotel, the official pages disagree on whether hotel guests under 21 can use the rooftop pool, so ask before you book with children.

Leave Circa out, since it admits no one under 21, and do not plan a family day around Athena, which is for guests 21 and older. At Resorts World, the Main Pool and a family pool are the better choice for children.

Our pick for families is M Resort, for shallow, heated pools and a clear supervision rule published by the resort.

Can you use these pools without staying at the hotel?

At some of them, yes, but access rules differ by hotel and change from year to year, so a stay is the only guaranteed way in. In 2026, Resorts World sells a visitor day pass for its pool complex. Athena is open to visitors 21 and older, but the resort's pages do not say clearly whether the pass covers it, so ask before you buy.

In Henderson, M Resort charges admission to M Pool, and each registered room gets up to 4 complimentary entries. Green Valley Ranch's pool page says registered guests get in with their room key, while other visitors pay a fee that is higher at weekends. Day admission at these two resorts ran from about 15 to 30 USD per adult in 2026.

Downtown Grand includes its third-floor pool deck for hotel guests. At Circa, each night of a stay includes two general admission passes per room to Stadium Swim. Soleia Beach is free for Vanderpump guests. Visitors must be 21 or older and need a daybed, cabana or bungalow reservation, unless they are locals with a Nevada ID.

Our pick for a pool day without a stay is Green Valley Ranch, where the visitor rates are published and the pool looks toward the Strip.

When is pool season in Las Vegas?

Las Vegas pool season runs from March to October, and the most comfortable pool months are April, May, September and October. National Weather Service normals put the April high at about 26 C (79 F). By July the normal high reaches about 40 C (105 F). September is still hot, at about 35 C (95 F). October cools to about 27 C (81 F), close to April.

In the hottest months, the Southern Nevada Health District advises drinking water before you feel thirsty, limiting direct sun and taking regular breaks in the shade. That is where a reserved daybed or cabana earns its cost.

In winter, most resorts keep at least one pool open, usually heated and with shorter hours. Circa's Stadium Swim bills itself as the only pool amphitheater in Las Vegas open all year. Its Winter Swim heats the upper pools to about 40 C (104 F). The Westin Lake Las Vegas heats its upper pool, while its lower pool is seasonal.

Book April to May or September to October for long pool days. In winter, choose Circa if a warm pool is the reason for the trip.

What should you check before booking a Las Vegas pool hotel?

Check the total price first, then the pool rules and the ID you need. Under the FTC rule on unfair or deceptive fees, in force since 2025, the price shown for a hotel stay must include any mandatory resort fee. Compare total prices, not base rates, because resort fees can change which of two hotels is cheaper.

Next, the pool rules. Most hotels here let registered guests in with a room key, but chairs, daybeds, bungalows and cabanas are sold separately at busy decks such as Athena. House rules vary: M Resort bans outside food and drinks, coolers and pool floats, and Soleia Beach does not allow floats or toys.

Last, the ID. Pools and dayclubs for guests 21 and over check a valid photo ID at the entrance, and The Cosmopolitan's Marquee Dayclub asks international guests for a physical passport.

Our advice: choose the pool first, then book the hotel that gives you access to it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The Athena Infinity Ultra Pool at Resorts World, on the North Strip, is an infinity pool with views over the Strip, open to guests of Crockfords, Conrad and Las Vegas Hilton. Entry is limited to guests 21 and older, and chairs, daybeds and bungalows around it can be reserved.

Two hotels on this page offer one. Crockfords at Resorts World has Two-Bedroom Pool Villas, with a private pool on a garden terrace. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has Bungalows, lofts on three levels with a plunge pool and a terrace on top. Book these exact room types, because a standard room at either hotel has no private pool.

Yes. Circa Resort & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas is adults-only: no one under 21 may enter, and staff check ID at the door, hotel guests included. The rule covers its pool amphitheater, Stadium Swim, so the deck has no children at any time of year. Elsewhere on this page, the 21+ rule applies only to certain pools, such as Athena at Resorts World or DayDream at M Resort.

Some are. Most resorts keep at least one pool open through the winter, usually heated and with shorter hours, while other pools close until spring. Circa's Stadium Swim stays open all year and heats its pools in winter, and The Westin Lake Las Vegas heats its upper pool. Expect cool air on the deck, with normal winter highs around 14 C (58 F).

Very hot. The normal daily high in July is about 40 C (105 F), and open decks get little shade in the middle of the day. The Southern Nevada Health District advises drinking water before you feel thirsty, wearing light-colored clothing and resting in the shade. For a full summer day, a reserved daybed or cabana with shade is worth the extra cost.

Usually not for a standard lounger. At the hotels on this page, registered guests generally get in with their room key, as at Green Valley Ranch and Downtown Grand. Reserved space costs extra: chairs, daybeds, bungalows and cabanas are sold separately at busy pools such as Athena at Resorts World. Mandatory resort fees must be included in the total price shown when you book.

Bring a valid physical photo ID; international visitors should carry their passport. The Cosmopolitan's Marquee Dayclub requires international guests to bring a physical passport. Circa checks every guest's ID at the entrance, since the whole resort is for guests 21 and over. Carry the same ID for other age-restricted pools, such as DayDream at M Resort or Athena at Resorts World.

Usually not. M Resort's pool rules ban outside food and drinks, glass, coolers, speakers and floats, and Soleia Beach at The Vanderpump Hotel does not allow pool floats or toys. Food and drinks are sold on the deck at the hotels on this page, often with service to your lounger. Read the pool rules on the hotel's own page before you pack an inflatable or a cooler.

Not quite. Lake Las Vegas is a resort community in the city of Henderson, built around a privately owned lake, about 17 miles (27 km) from the Strip. The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa sits on its shore, with a two-level pool area by the water. Choose it for a quieter lakeside stay, and plan on a drive for evenings on the Strip.

For a party, Circa's Stadium Swim is the strongest match: six pools face a giant sports screen, with swim-up bars and cabanas, and the whole resort is for guests 21 and over. For a calmer day with a Strip view, a group can book a daybed or bungalow at Athena, the 21+ infinity pool shared by the three Resorts World hotels.

Yes. The Vanderpump Hotel is the transformed Cromwell, at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, and it has welcomed guests under the new name since 2026. Its rooftop pool, Soleia Beach, looks over the Strip. Visitors who are not staying at the hotel must be 21 or older, and the hotel's own pages disagree on whether younger hotel guests may use it.
