Our take
Pick it for
A private infinity pool on your own terrace, facing the open sea or the Palm and the city skyline.
The trade-off
The private infinity pools come only with a Sky Pool Villa or a Cityscape or Oceanscape Penthouse, and the other rooms share The Royal Pool.
Look elsewhere if
You want to swim at an infinity edge from a standard room, without booking a villa or a penthouse.

Set dates to get pricesThe infinity pool
Private infinity pools sit on the terraces of the Sky Pool Villa, the Cityscape Penthouse and the Oceanscape Penthouse, and each one is used only by the guests staying in that unit. The pool comes with the room at no extra fee and is open to all ages. The resort rises 43 stories on Palm Jumeirah, and these terrace pools look out to the open sea or back across the Palm toward the city.
What the villa and penthouse pools face
The Sky Pool Villa comes in two versions. In the Sea View villa, the pool faces the open sea. In the Palm View villa, it looks over the Palm and the Dubai skyline to the Skyblaze Fountain, a fire and water fountain show. Both have a large terrace for dining and lounging next to the water.
The Cityscape and Oceanscape Penthouses are set over two floors. The Cityscape Penthouse has a private terrace with its infinity pool and lounge areas, and the Oceanscape Penthouse pairs its infinity pool with a rooftop terrace facing the sea.
Who can use the shared pools
Every hotel guest can use The Royal Pool, the main shared pool, with sun loungers, private cabanas and outdoor dining facing the Dubai skyline. Children of all ages are welcome there, and it is open during the day. Towels are free and handed out at the cabanas by the pool and on the beach, and a private cabana can also be reserved.
The second shared pool belongs to Nobu by the Beach, the pool and beach club of chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Access is complimentary for in-house guests, and an advance reservation is recommended. The club sets its own age policy for the pool, so check it before going with children. Suite and penthouse stays also include AWAKEN Fitness and its outdoor lap pool.
The beach and swimming with children
The resort has a private beach on the Arabian Sea, open during the day. Families swim together at The Royal Pool and on the beach. The kids' club takes children aged 4 to 12 and is complimentary for hotel guests. Every room category includes complimentary waterpark days at Aquaventure World, one for each night of the stay.
Which room to book for the pool
To have a private infinity pool, book one of three categories: the Sky Pool Villa, in Sea View or Palm View, the Cityscape Penthouse or the Oceanscape Penthouse. The Sky Pool Villa measures from 118 square meters (1,270 square feet). The two penthouses are larger, from 170 square meters (1,830 square feet) over two floors. All three sleep up to three adults and one child.
Suite and penthouse stays add Royal Club Lounge access and breakfast in the suite. They also include a sunbed at the Nobu by the Beach pool. The Seascape and Palmscape rooms share The Royal Pool and the beach.
